Pavitra Punia who is known for her performance in Ishq Ki Dastaan – Naagmani, Love U Zindagi, and Sawaare Sabke Sapne… Preeto has become popular with her participation in MTV Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss 14. Lately, Pavitra opened up about her mental health and having Suicidal thoughts after Bigg Boss 14.
Pavitra Punia Talks About Her Mental Health:
In a recent interview with Etimes, Pavitra spoke about her darkest phase of life. She revealed that she faced financial issues during lockdown and the worst was after Bigg Boss 14.Â
Pavitra said “It’s not about being rich, but rather about responsibility. For instance, if I’m in a hospital, I wouldn’t ask my mother for her credit or debit card. It’s a child’s responsibility. Similarly, when you’re with friends, you wouldn’t ask if they have money when you’re the one who’s unwell, right? You understand what I mean.”
Further she went on to say that she was the only earning member in the family and wanted to do everything for her parents. After coming out from Bigg Boss, her father met with an accident in December.
Pavitra Punia Bigg Boss 14 Contestant struggled with suicide thoughts after the show:
“I found myself on the brink of depression, struggling with thoughts of suicide. It was an immensely difficult time, and I truly believe that the love of my family saved me. I remember feeling like it would only take seconds for me to do something irreversible.”- she added.

Pavitra was one of the strongest contestants in Bigg Boss 14 where she met Eijaz Khan and later they fell in love. However, the recent rumours suggest that the two are headed for a breakup.
