In true Salman Khan style, the actor recently told the media at a press conference that he had no projects planned beyond Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Filmmakers are swarming around him. It appears that Salman will decide on his next project after observing how the public reacts to his Diwali release.

Salman Khan Stops Signing New Films

Six projects, including Prem Ki Shaadi director Sooraj Barjatya and an undisclosed Karan Johar production are said to have been offered to the actor. According to an industry insider, Mid Day reported that if Salman doesn’t sign a movie until November, he might not have a release for Eid 2024. Despite the flood of offers he has gotten, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has failed to surpass the Rs 100 crore barrier after 10 days in theatres, and the actor is now assessing his alternatives.

Radhe- His final Eid release, 2021’s Your Most Wanted Bhai, too had a hybrid release but failed to generate any box office buzz. Salman reasoned that rushing a project to completion in order to celebrate Eid 2024 would be unethical. He places more value on being able to watch a decent movie at his own speed.

In addition to Barjatya’s drama and KJo’s upcoming film, which will be directed by Shershaah creator Vishnuvardhan, as per reports, Salman has been offered Atul Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit next, Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 4, Sohail Khan’s Sher Khan, and Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. They are all now on hold. The superstar is in ‘retrospective mood’, so if he finds an intriguing narrative, he might unveil his upcoming project before Diwali.
