Manisha Koirala attended the screening of Ponniyin Selvan 2 at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios recently. She met up again with Mani Ratnam, the director of her film Bombay, and his wife Suhasini Maniratnam. The actress reflected on her past interactions with them. She also applauded his most recent film and sent her best wishes to the entire crew for their excellent work.

On Instagram, Manisha posted several pictures of the get-together after the screening. She wrote, “Such humble man Mani Ratnam sir is and such a great filmmaker!!! I remember working with him was intense but so fulfilling… we artists long to working with directors who push our limits and help us to excel… He always tries to do things differently! My first day of shooting for Bombay is so fresh in my mind..”

Bollywood Actors Attend the Screening of Ponniyin Selvan 2
Vikram and Aishwarya Rai were among the Ponniyin Selvan 2 cast attended the special screening. Anil Kapoor, Madhoo, Shriya Saran, Kartik Aaryan, Bobby Deol, and Prosenjit Chatterjee were among the other famous celebrities that attended the screening. The period saga, the follow-up to Ponniyin Selvan 1, has already brought in more than 150 crore at box office globally.
Together, the actor and the director worked on films such as, Dil Se (1998) and Bombay (1995). Manisha even said in her post how Suhasini, who is also an actor, helped her out while performing to the popular song ‘Hamma Hamma’ and praised her for the same.
