The actress made her Met Gala debut in 2023 wearing a Prabal Gurung gown embellished with pearls, and now she has been named the first Indian global ambassador for the Italian luxury label Gucci. Following her much-discussed triumph in Bollywood, the diva is now making progress in the fashion industry as well.

In an announcement on her Instagram post, earlier today, the star said “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but on a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”

While Priyanka Chopra, the face of Bulgari, and Deepika Padukone, a Louis Vuitton ambassador, have been well-known internationally for some time, Alia is making progress. She is quickly moving up the Hollywood ladder thanks to RRR’s Oscar victory and her debut in the movie Heart of Stone opposite Gal Gadot. As Alia Bhatt was named the ambassador, the company posted on its social media accounts. Gucci posted, “Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag.”

She even had a pink Gucci dress to complete her pregnancy look. She chose a chiffon dress with ruffles in a frothy pink color. Black trousers and a sleeveless waistcoat completed the ensemble.
